Dear Queen,

You seem to have forgotten, you were given as a gift to him.
That you came from his side, close to his heart;
Not from under his feet.
That you're an Empress, not a duchess or mistress.
You've been programmed over generations, to believe that you are only beautiful if it's in his eyes.
That your whole purpose is to be his object;
To use, misuse, abuse, and then refuse...
Our society is one where you give and he takes.
Your whole life you give up your family, your friends, your name, and your dreams
All for him.
You serve him, he is your Massa.
You give him support, you give him comfort,
A castle for him to rule, all while you struggle to still go to school;
But who can you lean on?
What pillar can give you strength when you have given all you have left?
Does he see your sacrifice? Does he see your struggle?
As you do the balancing act of loving his children, maintaining his castle and giving him your whole soul?
"Once, just once, can I do this for myself?"
You beg you plea for a second.
Not a minute but a second to think about the ME, the I that never really existed.
"SELFISH, PETTY, BAD MOTHER, SLUT, PLAIN JANE, B*TCH"
...
No second, no chance for you to even find yourself.
For you to even love yourself.
You don't even know yourself, without him.
